Have you ever looked at ski tracks disappearing beyond the groomed slopes, winding through snowy forests, mountain valleys and breathtaking winter landscapes?
With Mmove's Ski Alp First Experience, discover a different way to explore the mountains in winter: not just skiing downhill, but also making your way uphill under your own power, surrounded by nature.
This introductory ski touring experience is designed for confident piste skiers who want to try ski touring for the first time, accompanied by a certified Mountain Guide.
During this half-day adventure, you'll become familiar with ski touring equipment, learn how to use climbing skins correctly and take your first steps uphill on snow. Your guide will introduce you to essential uphill techniques, kick turns and the transitions between climbing and descending.
You'll also receive an introduction to mountain safety in winter conditions, including essential safety practices and the use of avalanche rescue equipment such as a transceiver, shovel and probe.
And after the climb comes the most exciting part: removing your skins, preparing your skis and enjoying the satisfaction of your first descent on natural snow, away from groomed pistes.
The route will be selected by your Mountain Guide according to snow conditions, mountain safety and the group's abilities.

Duration and Meeting Time
This is a half-day experience, with a scheduled meeting time of 8:30 AM. The final meeting point and any specific instructions will be communicated upon confirmation.
Group Size
The activity requires a minimum of 3 participants and is limited to a maximum of 6 participants per Mountain Guide.
Season and Conditions
Available from December 20 to March 30, subject to suitable snow and weather conditions. The location and itinerary may change based on the Mountain Guide's assessment of mountain conditions.
Required Skiing Level
No previous ski touring experience is necessary. However, participants must be confident skiing on red runs and have a reasonable level of physical fitness.
Equipment
Ski touring equipment and avalanche rescue gear are not included. Please inform Mmove in advance if you need to arrange equipment rental.
