With Ice Climbing First Experience, you can discover one of the most fascinating winter mountaineering activities, accompanied by a professional Mountain Guide.
This full-day experience is designed for anyone who wants to try ice climbing for the first time, learn the essential techniques and experience the excitement of climbing a frozen wall using ice axes and crampons.
Your adventure begins with an introductory safety briefing, an explanation of the technical equipment and an introduction to basic ice climbing techniques.
Once you're familiar with the equipment, it's time to put your new skills into practice! You'll climb carefully selected sections of ice, chosen by your Mountain Guide according to the conditions and the group's abilities.
You'll learn how to use ice axes and crampons correctly, maintain your balance on the ice and gradually progress through increasingly challenging sections.
No previous ice climbing experience is necessary. All you need is a good level of physical fitness, curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
The climbing location will be selected according to ice conditions, ensuring an experience suited to the group and the mountain environment.
